Volume 5 Training Videos

​​Welcome to our training videos for Volume 5.  The lessons in Volume 5 are designed to teach kindergarten students how to read words quickly and to read words in short sentences.  Students also learn to read words with closed syllables and diphthongs.  

After the main skills are taught, each day ends with a worksheet and a short game.  The lessons are each designed to last 30 minutes and are to be completed in 1 day.

We have chosen Lesson 100 to demonstrate the typical activities that are conducted in Volume 5.  The videos below begin with an introduction showing how to prepare for Lesson 100. (Click here for the summary sheet for Lesson 100).  This is followed by videos showing how to conduct some of the activities in the lesson.
